Sessions of the Trenton Municipal Court are held virtually, Monday through Friday at 9:00 a.m., per the NJ Judiciary list; the court's address is 225 North Clinton Avenue. Felony-level (indictable) cases leave that court and are handled by the Mercer County Prosecutor at the Criminal Courthouse on South Warren Street.

Being both the state capital and the Mercer seat, Trenton hosts the local court and the county's criminal courthouse. Where a case ends up depends on the charge: tickets, DWI and disorderly persons offenses stay local, while anything the prosecutor files as an indictable crime moves to Superior Court. We take Trenton cases from our only office, in Newark.
